Kick ass show, life :)
well this is my first blog type thing ever. I will begin in the month im in..Saw a kick ass show at the Larimer Lounge,Denver CO, Jaill (sadly I didnt get any pics of them) JEFF the Brotherhood, and The Greenhornes.
My Brother and I went , it was cool we were an hour early and sitting at the bar was Jack (L.J.) Lawrence. I didnt want to bother him so I sat a seat away from him and my bro sat right next to him and struck up a conversation. L.J. was real nice and my brother introduced me to him because he knew I was too quiet to say anything. lol. We talked about guitars and The Dead Weather. Jack said he learned Guitar at 15 and his first song he learned was "louie louie" by The Kingsmen. He also mentioned that the altitude (Denver, mile high above sea level) was alot for Alison Mosshart, its hard on her body. I guess because she grew up in Florida idk. My friend said i should have gotten L.J.'s autograph, i didnt want to though, I felt like meeting him was enough. I also got to meet Jamin (Drummer from Jeff the Brotherhood) he was real nice too and he and my bro talked about drumming, I couldnt really hear was kind of loud but I heard Jamin say " just hit the shit out them" (drums) lol.
We met up with buddies there too. Luke and his girl Jeanette (western style shirt, chic with white sweater) and Amy and her Husband Clint ( Greenhornes shirt w/ black/white striped sweater) and met some new friends, Jason and Stacy. Had a kick ass time. The bands rocked it hard! Good times :)
